Day Four ~ Mimi's Cafe

Going to Mimi's Cafe was a lot of fun! It's a full service restaurant with a nice variety on the menu. The restaurant is decorated in 'New Orleans' style ... which is a good thing because it gave Joseph lots to look at and helped keep him occupied! Nehemiah, taking a little nap :-),

Day Three ~ IKEA

Well... for 'Day Three' we didn't do a whole lot, first we fed the birds some of our leftovers (like cookies and bread crumbs :-) ) then around lunchtime we loaded up and drove to IKEA.

Here is a description of the IKEA stores:

(copied from the IKEA website)

"IKEA offers a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them. This is the idea at the heart of everything IKEA does, from product development and purchases to how we sell our products in IKEA stores globally.Anybody can make a good-quality product for a high price, or a poor-quality product for a low price. But to make good products at low prices, you need to develop methods that are both cost-effective and innovative. This has been IKEA's focus since its beginnings in Småland, Sweden. Maximizing the use of raw materials and production adaptation to meet people's needs and preferences has meant that our costs are low. The IKEA way of doing things is to pass these cost savings on to you, our customers."

IKEA also has a restaurant which serves Swedish food, below is a description of the restaurant:
"At the IKEA restaurant you can take a break from the hard work of shopping. You can even start your day at IKEA with breakfast before the store opens. Or why not have coffee and cake in the afternoon! In the restaurant you’ll find healthy Swedish and local daily dishes made from high quality fresh produce. You can use our highchairs and baby change stations for the little ones. And while the grownups rest a few minutes after lunch, the kids can have fun in the children play area."

I didn't take any pictures while we were at IKEA though, sorry :-(

Anyway, here are the few pictures I did get of 'Day Three':

Psalms 105:1-5

Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known
among the nations what he has done. Sing to him,
sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who

seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and his strength seek his face always.
Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles,

and the judgments he pronounced…

Psalm 105: 1-5

P.S I didn't take this picture :-).
